The Impossible Dream

A romantic comedy with music that brings to life Don Quixote, the bumbling chivalrous knight of classical literature, in the guise of sidekick to the real life character of Jose Paronella. Their combined hilarious attempts to woo the stubborn Margarita, with the help of her conniving mother Rosa, eventually prove successful, taking Margarita and Jose on a journey towards a love of each other and the remote wilderness of Far North Queensland. Jazz Up North! - Olavi & Kalevi Duo

The exciting Jazz Up North series continues with more fresh Nordic Jazz. The Tanks is pleased to welcome the Olavi & Kalevi Duo from Finland.

Olavi and Kalevi Louhivuoro are young, fresh and very professional virtuosos.Olavi Louhivouro, drummer, was in Cairns in Feb 2003 with the much enjoyed Joona Toivanen Trio, and his brother Kalevi Louhivuoro, is a beautifully fresh trumpeter. Both brothers are very musical performers, and come from a very strong and high regarded musical family in Finland.
