MediaMix is an organisation, which was developed by the media industry in 1997 to increase networking within the media industry and also to increase industry competitiveness by generating revenue for the annual Media Awards.
The gathering of all media of Cairns is held once a month and commences at 6pm and concludes at 8pm at a prearranged venue. Drinks are supplied by Casella, Yellow Tail range, Barefoot Radler & Tooheys New White Stag. Finger food is served between 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
All the media of Cairns are notified where and when the next MediaMix is going to be held via e-mail or facsimile, which is sent at least a week before the gathering.
