Energy Exhibition Cell Art Space Awards is the region’s showcase of some of the best young emerging artistic talent. Through their artworks, the exhibiting art students demonstrate a high degree of sophistication in concepts, diversity of art forms and media.
Works exhibited as part of the Energy Exhibition Cell Art Space Awards can include drawing, painting, photography, innovative installation and multi media works.
Energy Exhibition Cell Art Space Awards provides students with another opportunity to present their works to the community in a professional exhibition context and is one of the region’s most popular art exhibitions.

The Barrier Reef Sun Club was established in 1989 and is the only nudist club in the Cairns area.
The only place in Cairns offering free beginner salsa dance lessons every week.Carol & Jo, Salsa dance extraordinaire runs the classes and will make sure you have a great time. Classes start at approximately 9pm and run for 2 X half hour sets, the fist half hour is dedicated to Merengue ( as Carol says "if you can walk you can Merengue") and the second half hour is Salsa.
These days the Cairns Greyhound Racing Club is endeavouring to bring more people back to the sport of Greyhound Racing. We race most Saturday nights at Cannon Park & welcome new trainers and owners to our club along with visiting trainers and their dogs who we love to see grace our track.

Day walks are held on Sundays but overnight walks and car camps are planned about once every two months and on long weekends. Overnight walks and camps are generally open to members only.

The North Queensland Jeep Owners Club is based in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, Australia.If you live anywhere in North Queensland and own a Jeep vehicle, you are invited to join the North Queensland Jeep Club and take part in trips, driver training and social activities and to generaly have some fun out there with your Jeep.Our club is supported by the local Jeep dealer, but independantly run by Jeep vehicle owners.
