Cell Art Space is proud to present.....
Colour Ones
OPENING NIGHT - 9 December 9:15 onwards (last stop on the Creative Crawl)
Lyndell Hayes and Jeni Bullock have come together to examine the use of colour and it's relation to spatial perception revealing how composition can be directly modified and enriched by integrating painting and drawing.
Through this practice the artists inform their work in a contemporary manner exploring such things as birds and animals, subjects both artists are passionate about.
Both Lyndell and Jeni have participated in many group shows and continue to evolve their arts practices constantly inspired by by both the tropical environment in which they live and from their travels overseas.
Jeni and Lyndell’s works are available for purchase to add to your art collection. Come by 109 Lake Street and check them out!

Natalie Green
5 November - 3 December 2011
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas
Cell Art Space, Cairns City Centre, 109 Lake Street. 24hr view only gallery.
Natalie’s abstract artwork commences with a base colour, followed by the layering of other colours and building slowly until an idea develops. The image can change many times during the construction of the painting.
“All members of the human race live inside a circle. This circle can be a family, a group of friends, a workplace or a community. Some of these circles are large and expanding, others small and intimate. None of us are without a circle, even if it is only our universe. The square is what we have created: our houses, our buildings, our lives. The circles, squares, patterns and textures are there for you to create your own story; if you do this and enjoy my work, then I have succeeded. I enjoy ask- ing people what they see in my artwork, as I see different things on different days. This, to me, keeps my artwork new.”
Natalie’s interest in painting started in 1989 when she started painting large abstract designs onto silk.
All images are available for purchase.
