Cell Art Space is proud to present.....
Colour Ones
OPENING NIGHT - 9 December 9:15 onwards (last stop on the Creative Crawl)
Lyndell Hayes and Jeni Bullock have come together to examine the use of colour and it's relation to spatial perception revealing how composition can be directly modified and enriched by integrating painting and drawing.
Through this practice the artists inform their work in a contemporary manner exploring such things as birds and animals, subjects both artists are passionate about.
Both Lyndell and Jeni have participated in many group shows and continue to evolve their arts practices constantly inspired by by both the tropical environment in which they live and from their travels overseas.
Jeni and Lyndell’s works are available for purchase to add to your art collection. Come by 109 Lake Street and check them out!
OPENING NIGHT - 9 December 9:15 onwards (last stop on the Creative Crawl)

Join exhibiting artists Lyndell Hayes & Jeni Bullock as they present a short artist talk. Special guest Rose Rigley from Knock Knock Contemporary Artists’ Initiative will officially open the exhibition. Listen to the musical talents of singer songwriter Alex Blagojevic as she hits Cell Art Space's steps with her original songs, an infusion of folk, rock, soul and jazz.

Heyday Festival is incredibly proud to announce that independent French filmmaker Vincent Moon will be screening his films and hosting an informal Q&A complemented with a set by local musicians, The Montgomery Brothers - tickets at the door from 6pm.
Vincent Moon has become one of the most influential and prolific filmmakers of the last decade. His work with musicians from all over the world has enabled him to work with the likes of rock heroes Arcade Fire and Mogwai, mythical artists like Tom Ze, to even filming a doco for All Tomorrow's Parties. His work with La Blogoteque's TAKE AWAY SHOWS has propelled the website to be one of the most well regarded and visited music websites in the world. His own website, Petites Planetes is a next step for him, allowing him to move from his indie rock roots to the unexplored world of traditional and outsider artists of the smallest and remote countries. Vincent’s other Australian shows have been selling out, so don’t miss this unique one night only event before Vincent heads off to the next country on his never ending journey.
Mema Edwards Founding Director of Heyday Festival says, “Our festival is a major partner in producing this event because regional communities especially our younger generation of creatives deserve to be inspired by world-class artists.”
