The 2012 Mareeba Rodeo Festival commences on 30 June 2012 with the Junior Cowpokes Competition, Walkamin Country Music Club Concert and Horse Sports at Kerribee Park. The following weekend sees the Mareeba Rodeo Ball on Friday 6 July 2012 kicking off a varied weekend of sports and activities including the Art Show, Cycle Races, Bocce, Tennis, Indoor Bowls, Lawn Bowls, Golf, and Cutting.
The following week is a continuance of events culminating in the Mareeba Rodeo itself at Kerribee Park on Saturday 14 July and Sunday 15 July 2012, as well as the Stud Beef Cattle Show, Agricultural Show, Woodchops and the Ute Muster.
This conference is the result of a co-operative partnership with AWE, VETnetwork Australia and the local office of the Department of Communities, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Services in Cairns. In particular, our conference is assisting to promote the local celebrations of NAIDOC week, especially their annual corporate breakfast which will be on Tuesday 3 July.

Mareeba Rodeo is the premier sporting event in Tropical North Queensland and has become a national icon on the rodeo calendar. Top level competition and entertainment gives spectators plenty to watch. Don't miss the 2 days of full-on action from 7:30am each day.
This year the Mareeba Rodeo will be held at Kerribee Park Mareeba on Saturday 14 July and Sunday 15 July 2012.
