Mumbalates is a fun free exercise class for new mums. Stretch tired and tight muscles and strengthen and tone the ones that need it. Ideal for new mums with bubs up to 12 months old. Includes pilates, foot fitness, functional strength and movement, core conditioning and tai chi.
Mumbalates is just for mums. Baby comes too, but the focus is on YOU! Mums are givers, so it’s really nice to take time once a week and give back to yourself. Mumbalates provides that opportunity.
The class combines principles of Pilates which focus on breathing and core connection; with functional movement and fun that make movement, exercise and life enjoyable. The added benefits of Mumbalates include improved muscle strength; better energy and endurance; reduced stress; improved muscle tone and functionality and generally improved feelings of all over wellness.
You will find Mumbalates at the north end of Muddy's Playground on the Esplanade. Turn towards the water at the roundabout intersection of Upward and Abbott St and then take a left into the carpark.
