Don’t miss the biggest race day of the year in Gordonvale, celebrating 100 years of Racing in Gordonvale, this year’s Great Northern Hotel Cup Day is set to be one of the biggest and best on record.

The tradition continues with record crowds expected to flock to one of Gordonvale’s largest and most iconic sporting and social events with 2016 expected to be bigger and better than ever. It will be a huge day of racing, fashion, socialising, catching up with friends and enjoying some of the best trackside hospitality around.

With 5 local races on the programme the Great Northern Hotel/ Bill Dawson Memorial Gordonvale Cup looks to be a beauty. With rumours of horses coming far and wide to win their home town cup on the 100th year.

Enjoy 100 years of racing history with air-conditioned Members bar, local and TAB betting facilities, a wide range of kid’s entertainment including the FuneFarm and Jumping Castle, Fashions on the Fields for all ages. Plenty of public seating including bar and food facilities.

In line with Liquor Licensing requirements, Children under 18 must attend with a paying parent. All person under 15-25 must be registered with the local security guards.
