With an illustrious heritage built on the innovation and extraordinary creativity of dance royalty Frederick Ashton and Kenneth MacMillan, The Royal Ballet is truly one of the world’s great ballet companies.
For the first time performing in Cairns the company will stage a very special Gala Performance in Cairns’ Munro Martin Parklands on Wednesday 12 July*.
Featuring an ensemble of dancers from the company, the Gala Performance will feature beautiful solos and duos from the company’s broad repertoire including Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, Don Quixote and Romeo and Juliet
This performance follows The Royal Ballet’s International Series season at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane from 29 June until 9 July.
We All Dance
Artists from The Royal Ballet collaborate with community groups and teaching artists from across Queensland to
celebrate dance and movement through a series of workshops and culminating community performances.
