Conducted in the peaceful setting of the Gallery, participants will be guided through various yoga techniques, including learning postures, meditation and breathing techniques to improve core strength, mind and body. Our qualified and experienced yoga instructor Jeany Schall will guide the class, offering the highest and latest standards of modern yoga practice.

Classes run weekly on Monday evening, except for public holidays

Level 3 Class is for 11-16 years old students who take creating artwork and art classes seriously. This program may assist students who require a folio of work for application to high school art excellence programs by encouraging free expression and confidence in their artistic abilities. Students will develop techniques used by real artists, and gradually develop a deep understanding of the value and enjoyment that can be gained through art. Participants will further their skills in drawing and painting as well as working in other media. This program will also teach about historical and contemporary artists and allow students to work toward a mini group exhibition at the end of 2019

Inspired by works in Queen’s Land Blak Portraiture and Adolescent Wonderland, indigenous designer Peggy Lane will teach participants how to develop a digital self-portrait that combines photographic images to enhance notions of identity.
