Board the 26m luxury sailing catamaran, Spirit of Cairns, at Marlin Marina before casting off for a 2.5 hour Cairns lunch cruise around Trinity Inlet and the waterfront precinct.

Wander the exterior decks to enjoy the fresh sea breezes and panoramic views of this coastal port city. Taking you from the marina, the Spirit of Cairns lunch cruise heads deep into the heart of Trinity Inlet with its winding tributaries and Admiralty Island. This is a side of Cairns not often seen.

Then enjoy the cool, comfortable air-conditioned interiors, with plenty of windows to ensure you don’t miss the passing scenery of this tropical port city with its Cruise Liner Terminal, marina and Esplanade precinct.

Our Cairns lunch cruise menu changes regularly, to take advantage of the freshest, local produce. It caters to vegetarians and has a range of gluten free items as well. The Lunch Menu can be downloaded here and although it may change, it will always include hot and cold dishes, as well as dessert items. The luxurious Spirit of Cairns sailing catamaran is fully licensed, selling a range of beverages, including tropical cocktails.

When Do We Go

The Spirit of Cairns lunch cruises currently operate every Sunday and on other special occasions throughout the year. These dates are provided on this website and also on our social media accounts. The price includes a 2.5 hour calm water cruise, as well as hot and cold 3 course buffet lunch. If you have a group of 20 or more, we may be able to schedule a lunch cruise for your preferred date, so please contact us to enquire.

What Will You See / Do

Enjoy a fantastic afternoon of calm water cruising and absolute waterfront dining aboard Spirit of Cairns. You can expect a delicious buffet meal and fabulous views. The cruise commences with boarding at Marlin Marina, before taking you on a journey deep into the interior of Trinity Inlet and its winding tributaries. Keep your eyes peeled, you might even see a crocodile. The cruise passes along Cairns’ waterfront and Esplanade precinct, delivering panoramic views of this vibrant, tropical port city.

What Do You Need To Bring / Wear

Yourself and your smile. Tropical casual attire is suggested, with a light jacket for the winter months. Footwear is mandatory, with suitable shoes for boating recommended. Although it’s a calm water cruise, you will find it more comfortable moving around the boat in flat rubber soled shoes. Don’t forget to bring a little cash, EFTPOS or credit card for your bar purchases.
