The cooking classes are hosted by Julaymba’s Executive Chef, Simone Watts. Having worked alongside many talented chefs across the globe, Simone has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with participants.
The demonstration is a great way to mix up your standard dinners back home, try something new and get some inspiration for your very own veggie garden. The class is suitable for all expertise levels, regardless of whether you’re a kitchen novice, or an experience cook in need of a bit of inspiration.
The two hour demonstration features 6 recipes showcasing native Australian ingredients and locally grown produce. Master some of the Julaymba menu favourites, as well as learning how to make your own dukkah.
Participants will be treated to canape style tastes of the demonstrated dishes and complimentary beer or wine – a fun and relaxing way to spend an afternoon in the Daintree. Classes are open to the public as well as staying guests.
Classes are held every Tuesday from 3pm on-site at Daintree Ecolodge
