The dense, vibrant and intelligent script is from acclaimed Australian playwright Joanna Murray-Smith. It was first performed in Melbourne on 14 November 1995 and has since been performed in more than three dozen countries, including on Broadway and in the West End.

This play takes us on a tender poignant voyeuristic ride through the life and love of each of the four characters as they navigate the traumatic upheaval caused by their shattered expectations.

The characters are real and disturbingly identifiable as their primal, emotive story plays out on stage.

There is a deeply engaging – beautifully nuanced – fascinating dynamic at work in this drama.
