Cairns Events Let's Do This

Playgroup Queensland is holding a Messy Playgroup at the Fun Ship Playground on the Cairns Esplanade as part of its National Playgroup Week celebrations. Activities include water play, a slime zone, sensory experience, messy music play, play dough activities and a chill-out zone.

National Playgroup Week in Cairns takes to the outdoors this year in a celebration designed to get the whole family MESSY.
Bring a change of clothes for both you and your littlies and come on down to the Fun Ship on the Esplanade on Thursday, 30 March from 10am to Noon where you will find:

• a Slime Station
• a Playdough Centre
• Water Play Activities
• Messy Music Play
• a Sensory Experience
• a Chill Out Zone.

National Playgroup Week is all about fun and learning through play. Every activity that will be on show during the day is designed to help a child grow and be prepared for school. The activities also encourage mums, dads, grandparents and other carers to get involved with their child by getting MESSY too!

Held every year in March, National Playgroup Week is a celebration of everything “playgroup”. It gives families the chance to get a taste of what to expect when they attend a playgroup.
There will be goodie bags available on the day along with information on Playgroup Queensland’s programs and services delivered in the Cairns region.
