The story of the role of rail transport in war is of national significance. As part of the conflict of World War 1, railways played an important part in the logistics of war.
This travelling exhibition from The Workshops Rail Museum explores the role of railways at home and on the front and the pivotal role of rail in moving Australia’s military. The exhibition is divided into 7 themes:
